Fall-Safe® protection has been developed by Hip Impact Protection Ltd. which uses a new material – D3O® – that typically offers superior protection compared to other forms with similar physical properties. It is very flexible and is here provided in a special shape to fit comfortably over the trochanter, with clever internal contouring to minimise contact with the skin, which remains at a comfortable temperature thanks to the air holes providing ventilation. With a thickness of only 18mm, it is unnoticeable under most clothing.
